Ginuwine attended Prince George’s Community College in Largo, Maryland after graduating from Forestville High School in 1989 and earned an associate’s degree in paralegal studies there. Forestville Military Academy is the school’s new name, replacing Forestville High School.

When Ginuwine started his career in the early 1990s, he joined Swing Mob. Ginuwine earned a solo artist contract with Epic Records in the middle of the 1990s.
