Singer Morgan Wallan: Following the release of a video showing country music star Morgan Wallen yelling a racial slur, radio stations started to stop playing his songs early on Wednesday, February 3.
The n-word can be heard being used by Morgan Wallen, 27, on a Ring doorbell video taken at a neighbor’s house.

After a night out in Nashville with his buddies, Wallen was staggering around outside of his house. When another guy at the house started using the slur before entering, the country artist asked someone to keep an eye on him.
Later, Wallen admitted to TMZ that the video had embarrassed him and that he had apologized. He acknowledged that the insult was “inappropriate” as well.
Since the video surfaced, music platforms have begun dropping Wallen’s music.
One of the largest country music radio networks in the US, Cumulus Media, instructed its radio affiliates to omit his music from Wednesday’s lineup. Additionally, Variety distributed a note instructing staff to “delete Wallen’s music from our playlists without exception.”
In October, Wallen garnered widespread attention after he was fired from Saturday Night Live for violating the program’s COVID-19 rule. Additionally, he was detained for public intoxication in Downtown Nashville the previous year.
On social media, many fans condemned Wallen’s remark, and some even demanded that he be dropped in light of his most recent transgression. Singer Morgan Wallan
